School Fitness Workshops

OT Fitness, keep students active and engaged, while teachers are participating in professional development workshops with no interruption to teachers meeting.  OT Fitness will coordinate a combination of different fitness activities for your students; using your schools Gymnasium, Library, Classroom, Open area or outdoor field areas.  Activities may include Track and Field like activities; Agility Challenge, FIA Relays, Dance-Zumba, Boot-Camp, Team Building games and Traditional Sporting Activities and games (Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football and more).. 

OT Fitness understands that a quick start of the day’s activities is necessary. Our staff will be ready to receive your students’ right after the attendance and announcements. Please instruct your teachers to bring their students to the designated activity area before reporting to the Staff meeting area.

If interested, please provide the following details: 

  1. Provide your preferred date(s)
  2. The amount of possible student participants per session (mornings compared to the afternoon)
  3. Student numbers per grade...
  4. Your standard school hours (eg. 9am to 11:30am / 1:00pm  to 3:00pm)

Due to unpredictable weather conditions (May-June), all PLC Sports-Day will be planned for an indoor session.  However, should the weather conditions be suitable, we will have some or all events on the outside fields.  The final decision will be at the discretion of the principal and the OT Fitness staff Team leader on site.

All OT Fitness programs:  
1. Requires student leaders (Older students or staff) to assist in the running of the stations.

2.  Start with an introduction to include event explanation, safety and expectations for the day.

We encourage the participation of teachers and support staff that may be in the gymnasium. So please come ready to participate

WE RECOMMEND THAT AT LEAST ONE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SCHOOL BE PRESENT AT EACH ACTIVITY AREA.
